Position papers produced by SC&RA continue to enhance the representation of our membership and the industry.  These specific compositions present an SC&RA supported opinion about key issues that affect the successful operations of members worldwide.  These documents range from simple letters to the editor to supporting documents provided to federal leadership on industry issues such as Hours of Service or the manual override key in crane operating compartments.

Most recently under the authorship of SC&RA members, the association has produced a white paper that explains why the payment and performance bond is NOT the appropriate risk transfer instrument and why the interests of the respective state entities that regulate motor carriers are better served and protected by the auto liability policy.
