Advocacy, Leadership Development, and Networking Highlight First Emerging Leaders Summit

- SC&RA welcomed 13 Leadership Forum graduates to Association headquarters and Washington, D.C. to take part in a two-day event focused on peer networking, professional development, and industry advocacy. Photos from across the event can be found by clicking here.

This Summit’s keynote speaker, Dr. John Hillen, a business executive and the former Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, provided tangible solutions for optimizing professional growth. Following Hillen’s presentation, the group heard from FMCSA’s Larry Minor and NCCCO’s policy expert Matt Shaw.

This free summit is part of the Associations efforts to engage the next generation of industry leaders through its Leadership Forum program.  This program is designed to engage and accelerate career opportunities for a select group of the best and brightest in the crane, rigging, specialized transportation, and supporting industries.

The next Leadership Forum will be held at the 2019 Specialized Transportation Symposium.  Please click here to apply or contact Jason Bell for more information.
