Deadline Approaching for SC&R Foundation Grants

- Applications to the SC&R Foundation’s grant program are due at the end of this month, on Thursday, August 31.

The grant program awards between $250 and $5,000 to individuals pursuing additional skills or certificate programs at a technical/vocational school or 2 year-college.

Grant funds are also available to help members attend the SC&RA Financial and Risk Management Forum. The Forum provides education on key financial management practices, employee benefits, succession planning, business strategy, and overall risk management and profitability strategies. Awards range from $500 - $5,000 so please complete the financial information as accurately as possible. Click here for more information.

This year, the SC&R Foundation has also engaged in new partnerships with Industrial Training International (ITI) and the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) for a series of grants. The partnerships will enable the Foundation to award ITI courses and NCCCO certificate courses to worthy grant applicants. Follow the links above for details on the partnerships.

While Foundation grants are open to the public, SC&RA members are encouraged to apply. Interested parties can get more information and submit applications online here.
