Permit Policy Committee Contacts States on Stacking Issue

- SC&RA’s Permit Policy Committee, led by Rob Simon, of Bennett International Group, recently surveyed various Midwestern and Western states and found that a handful of these states do not allow companies to stack multiple trailers, including jeeps and dollies. To explore greater efficiency for companies and reduce overall impact on highways, SC&RA is reaching out to these states to explore the possibility of allowing stacking by highlighting the success of states that already allow it.
