CPWR Releases Heat Hazard Alert

- According to a release from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), a new heat hazard alert has been published by CPWR – The Center for Construction Research and Training.

The alert offers workers and employers steps to prevent heat illnesses while teams are on the job in hot weather and reviews common heat hazards. According to OSHA, extreme heat leads to the medical treatment for over 65,000 people yearly and is statistically the most fatal weather-related danger.
