Spots Available for Upcoming PennDOT Courses

- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has open seats available for two of their upcoming Certified Escort Vehicle Operator training courses.

The courses are designed to prepare individuals to fulfill escort duties for supersized loads in Pennsylvania and includes an overview of the industry, requirements for operators and vehicles, escort procedures, elements of route planning, and a review of driver safety.

The first course takes place on Wednesday, April 12 from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM in Clearfield, PA. Register for the course online here.

The second course takes place on Tuesday, April 25 from 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM in Allentown, PA. Register for the course online here.

Both courses are sponsored by the state’s Highway Administration and Business Leadership and Administrative Services Office and cost $100.
