U.S. Chamber Launches Multistate Voter Education Ad Blitz
On February 9, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce launched a multistate television ad and grassroots communications blitz in 12 House Congressional Districts and in eight states with 2012 Senate races. The Chamber said the ads would create a contrast between leaders who stand up for either big government or free enterprise policies by highlighting issues impacting the economy, job creation, and economic growth.
“We’re engaging earlier and more aggressively than ever to educate constituents about which leaders recognize the role free enterprise plays in leading our economic recovery,” said U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas Donohue. “It comes down to a simple question: is big government or free enterprise the solution to our country’s economic problems?”
In addition to a grassroots mobilization and online efforts, the Chamber’s 2012 communications effort will include TV ads, launching today in 16 states and more than 40 media markets. Click here to view the ads.
