 2012-2013 Winners Will Be Announced on April 21,
at the Closing Night Dinner in Austin, TX
 
The Foundation will be announcing winners of the Scholarship and Grant program at the Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. All applicants will be notified of their status by March 30. 

Applications for the 2013-2014 Year will be available in September 2012. If you have any questions please contact the Foundation at (703)698-0291.

Below are the SC&R Foundation 2011-2012 Award Recipients:

  Scholarship Winners:

  • Robert Vodicka, Stevenson Crane Service
    (Awarded the Christopher Lorenz Memorial Scholarship)
  • Christopher Zabrosky, Bigge Crane & Rigging
  • Daniel Zartman, Zartman Construction

  Grant Winners:

  • David Lalonde, H&E Equipment
  • Phillip Salazar, Bay Ltd
  • Nicholas Sucky, LeFebvre Companies
  • Joshua Thompson, Allstates Rigging

How much are the awards?

  • Scholarships up to $3,000 are awarded to students seeking bachelor degrees at 4-year colleges/universities in a field related to the specialized carriers and rigging industry 
  • Grants up to $1,500 are available for students seeking associate degrees or enrolled in certificate courses at community/vocational/technical schools relating to the specialized carriers and rigging industry 

Who is eligible?

  • SC&RA member company employees, working full or part time (averageof at least 20 hours per week)
  • Spouses, children/stepchildren, or grandchildren of employees
  • Full or part time students
