Committees and Task Forces
Studies and recommends action on labor relations issues and related matters affecting industry companies. The Association does not have the authority to bind members to any collective bargaining agreement.
Safety Education & Training Committee
Monitors events and recommend actions on safety-related issues to include Legislative, Regulatory, and Consensus Standards; SC&RA’s Safety Awards; and active Liaison with the Ironworkers
Labor/Management Safety Advisory Committee
Monitors and recommends action on safety-related issues to include: legislative, regulatory and consensus standards; manages the Crane & Rigging Group Safety Awards program; and develops and maintains education products and tools for members.
Tower Crane Committee
Takes an active and progressive role in establishing best practices and providing the information necessary to reduce workplace accidents and injuries. The committee will review, address and provide guidance regarding relevant issues, accidents and best practices within the tower crane industry. In addition the committee works with state and local governments on fair and viable legislation and regulations.
Workshop Program Task Force
Works with staff to determine appropriate topics and subject matter experts for the annual Crane & Rigging Workshop.
