Saying “No” to Transponders

Transponders were a hot topic in 2022 with the Association filing formal comments opposing federal government requests for access to transponders in large commercial motor vehicles, including mobile cranes — which industry sees as a way for government to ultimately impose additional regulations, but also an opportunity for SC&RA to assess the benefits of voluntary applications of enforcement technologies.
