Industry and thought leaders to gather for dynamic week of education, networking and business growth.

- CENTREVILLE, VA. – The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association’s (SC&RA) highly anticipated 2025 Annual Conference is set for April 21-25 at the iconic Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Ariz.
As the must-attend event of the year for industry decision-makers, the conference will bring together top executives, owners and leaders from the construction and transportation sectors for a high-impact week of learning, networking and business opportunity. All week long, attendees will benefit from an assortment of engaging presentations and educational sessions led by renowned speakers and industry experts, as well as exclusive access to committee meetings.

Additionally, the sold-out Exhibit Center will showcase 88 exhibitors, while the week also boasts a golf tournament, and the always-popular SC&RF Gala Fundraiser – themed “Viva Las Vegas: Roll the Dice for a Brighter Future!”

“Beyond the countless business and social connections available to attendees this year, the Annual Conference will also offer cutting-edge insights to help companies navigate key industry challenges and opportunities,” said SC&RA CEO Joel Dandrea.

With that in mind, attendees can expect discussions on current events like tariffs, contracts and cameras, leadership, overcoming adversity in business and life, and much more. Two notable breakfast sessions will be sponsored by Link-Belt Cranes and Trail King Industries respectively.
The opening session – Post-Election Political and Economic Landscape – features veteran journalist David Wasserman, who will provide an overview of the election and post-election political landscape, including the latest campaign updates and the policy implications.

In Let’s Talk Tariffs, panelists Ken Simonson, Sr. Vice President & Chief Economist, Associated General Contractors of America, Bill Frymoyer, Vice President Public Policy, Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association and Doug Birnie, President, Piedmont Wealth Advisory, will discuss how the Trump Administration plans to level the playing field for U.S. trade. This session will cover updates on tariffs, construction and heavy equipment manufacturing trends, and projections on what we can expect in the year ahead on trade competitiveness.

Speakers Lee and Terry Resnick, of Resnick Succession Group, will also keep conference-goers in the know on pertinent decisions coming out of Washington, D.C., with their session: Succession Planning, Navigating the Upcoming Tax Law Change, and the Significant Challenges Brought About by a Recent United States Supreme Court Decision.

The week comes to a dynamic end on Friday evening, April 25, with the Closing Night Awards & Recognition Reception & Dinner. This black-tie affair showcases the industry’s most notable achievements throughout the previous year, and includes the presentation of the Jobs of the Year award winners.
