D.C. Drops Vaccine Mandate Making It Easy to Attend Annual Conference

- Good news for those wanting to attend the Annual Conference, April 25-29. As expected, D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser said Monday she is dropping the city’s requirement that people show proof of coronavirus vaccination before entering many businesses in the city, as coronavirus transmission continues to trend downward throughout the region. Indoor mask mandates will be lifted March 1.

As reported two weeks ago in the SC&RA newsletter, CEO Joel Dandrea expected the mandates to lift. “We are pleased it has happened sooner than expected and we are moving full steam ahead for a normal and productive Annual Conference,” he said.
