Do Your Part to Promote Careers in Crane, Rigging, and Specialized Transportation in October

(September 17, 2020) - Take advantage of special career recognition days during the month of October to promote careers in crane, rigging, and specialized transportation. October is a big month for the industry, with Careers in Construction celebrated all month long, and the first Friday (Oct. 2) dedicated to Manufacturing Day. Lift & Move USA took the pledge to support #CICM, a Build Your Future initiative. We suggest industry employers do the same.

October is a great time to show students and educators careers in this industry that relate to construction and manufacturing. Engage with students by being a classroom speaker, which can be done in person or virtually, offering to lead a project-based presentation, or opening your facility up for a tour.

Lift & Move USA is preparing Lift & Move in a Box to help employers understand the career and technical education community, work-based learning, and how to build industry-education partnerships.
