Heartfelt Thanks from Mother of Build-a-Bike Session Recipients

(November 17, 2021) - Last month, SC&RA members at the Annual Conference participated in a build-a-bike session for children of Blue Star Families. Recently the Association received a letter from the mother of two of the recipients:

I wanted to say thank you so much for having us be a part of this wonderful event. My girls have been blessed with their first bikes! Yes, their first bikes!! Exciting!! Because of this event, my girls will learn to ride a bike. They had been asking for bikes for some time now. I’m excited for them because due to COVID 19 and having two of my girls be high risk, they have not been able to get together with friends often. Riding bikes will be something we can do all together in our neighborhood as a family. I’d like to give a million thanks to all the sponsors and people that allowed this event to take place. It was one of the best things that has happened for my girls in a long time. Many blessings! Thank you,
