How to Position Employees AND Your Community Members for SC&RF Scholarships

- Did you know that vocational/technical scholarships with SC&RF are open to the public? These awards are geared toward training or certificate courses that provide needed skills for getting started or advancing your career in the industry. This means that your neighbor's son or your friend's daughter can receive educational assistance. They do not have to be working for your company or on payroll, however, they do need to express a desire to work in the industry. Additionally, the general public is eligible to receive free tuition from one of the Partners in Education organizations. CICB, ITI and Morrow Equipment have all donated tuition to be awarded through the scholarship process.  Additionally, NCCCO Foundation has donated certification fees for up to six people annually. Since 1986 the SC&RF has awarded $830,000 in scholarships to 400 individuals and is actively working to bridge the skilled labor gap through the scholarship program. Questions may be directed to SC&RF Director, Jackie Roskos.
