Hurricane Ian Causes Federal Disaster Declarations and Suspension of Divisible Weight Requirements

(October 5,2022) - Hurricane Ian left a wake of destruction and federal and state agencies are working together to ensure OS/OW commercial vehicles providing essential relief supplies can quickly and safely enter disaster areas. SC&RA’s partners at the Florida Trucking Association have consolidated all necessary permit information on the web here. Resources include links to various suspension of tolls, weigh stations, and divisible load weight requirements in several states across the Southeast, as well as the FMCSA federal disaster declaration for 7 states valid through October 28.
