Industry Awaits U.S. Election Results

- As of press time, outcomes of the presidential race in key swing states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan remain too close to call. While it appears that the Senate will remain a Republican majority and Congress more Democratic, whoever wins the election will likely move forward with infrastructure legislation. "From an SC&RA advocacy perspective, we will work toward supporting the best possible infrastructure legislation, as well as monitoring appropriations for fiscal year 2021," said CEO Joel Dandrea. "With so much happening in Washington, D.C. with a possible coronavirus relief/stimulus bill, and transportation issues on the state level, we're committed more than ever to making sure important industry issues, like infrastructure funding, are at the forefront of our advocacy strategy."
