(August 31,2022) - One of the nation’s preeminent experts on environmental policy and technological issues, Allen Schaeffer, CEO, Diesel Technology Forum, will be the featured speaker at SC&RA’s upcoming Environmental Forum, Sept. 13, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., at SC&RA headquarters. Joining Schaeffer will be Spo Spoljaric, Corporate Manager of Global Logistics, Bechtel, and Jeffrey Short, Vice President, American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI). The three subject matter experts will explore how SC&RA crane, rigging, and specialized transportation companies are preparing themselves to adapt to a flurry of new legislation, rules, and policies governing environmental resiliency, and what this might mean for our industry moving forward. Issues such as diesel emissions technologies, taxation, etc., dominate the headlines but are not yet widely understood by many.
