Rigging & Lifting with Blocks Kicks Off Practical Learning at Workshop

- Join your crane and rigging colleagues virtually at the 2020 Crane & Rigging Workshop, Sept. 16-17. From high-powered federal officials to in-the-field experts, the Workshop promises a virtual reality experience. Kicking off a unique learning experience on Thursday, Sept. 16 will be Skip Ohman and Greg Kane, of TactiLearning. They will help you understand the concepts and techniques involved in rigging training to create a safer work environment. This session will train attendees on the principles of blocks including capacity, parts of line and mechanical advantage, reeving, and the selection and proper operation of block systems. Later that day, the Exhibit Center will open allowing attendees to virtually walk the booths and have live conversations with company representatives.
