SC&RA Represents Members at Bauma Next Week

-SC&RA staff will be representing members next week at Bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. Organizers expect more than 3,100 exhibitors from around 60 countries. In addition to numerous construction machinery, more than 30 cranes will be on display at the “crane forest”. While the trade fair boasts significant exhibitions, various crane, rigging and specialized transport meetings will occur where SC&RA staff will represent members’ interests. ICSA (International Crane Stakeholders Assembly) will meet at the event to discuss ISO 15513, Lift Planning Approval Matrix, and simple and detailed lift plan documents, among other items. In addition to SC&RA, ICSA representatives from the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM); Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA); Crane Rental Association of Canada (CRAC); The European Association of Abnormal Road Transport and Mobile Cranes (ESTA); European Federation of Material Handling (FEM); and the Japan Crane Association (JCA) will be in attendance.
