SC&RA Thanks Chao; Welcomes Buttigieg

(January 19, 2021) - As we observe the nearly 225-year tradition of a peaceful transfer of power in our nation, SC&RA would like to thank Elaine Chao for her leadership and service as the former United States Secretary of Transportation.  During her time as Secretary, SC&RA members obtained critical regulatory victories for our members like the 30-minute rest break exemption and preemption of California’s meal and rest break rules.

SC&RA also cordially welcomes Secretary Pete Buttigieg.  We look forward to working with him and his leadership team on the many mutual interests that enable our members to lift and move the world.
