SC&RF Announces 2021 Winners of Collegiate Scholarships

- The SC&RF (Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation) Scholarship Program has awarded nearly 900,000 dollars to recipients to assist with tuition since its inception in 1986. The board's commitment to the program continues despite the pandemic and garners support from long-time SC&RA members.

The recipients of this year's Collegiate Scholarship awards are: 

  • Grace Erlinger, whose father is employed at Link Belt Construction Equip. She is the recipient of the Jay Shiffler Memorial Scholarship;        
  • Robert Fleming, Project Manager, Scott-Woods Transport, is the recipient of the George Young Memorial Scholarship;         
  • Elise Frueh, whose father is President of Fruhquip. She is the recipient of the Terex Continuing Education Scholarship;
  • Kenneth Meuler, an intern with Doral Equipment Rental;
  • Denise Wilson, dispatcher, Thackray Crane Rental, is the recipient of the IUOE Continuing Education Scholarship.
The Scholarship program includes Collegiate and Vocational/Technical Scholarships for training or continuing education. The Vocational/Technical Scholarships are awarded five times annually and April 30 applicants will be announced after the May selection.
