SC&RF to Maintain 100% Funding for Scholarship Program; Winners from April Round

(June 3, 2020) - The SC&RF Board met virtually in May and agreed to maintain 100 percent funding for scholarships. "All our applications for the April round are from individuals who are seeking to better themselves during this time of unemployment due to COVID-19," said Scholarship Chair, Debbi Evans. The April selections include five individuals seeking training: Jennifer Marotta – CICB 100% rigger course; Joshua Samuel – CICB 50% Crane Operator Course; Brandon Fisher - CICB 50% Crane Operator Course; John Bible - $2,500; and Lawrence Franco - $2,500.

The next deadline for scholarships, both Partner in Education and Vocational/Technical, is June 30.
