Updated Safety Talks Helps Companies Stay in Compliance

- SC&RA is pleased to announce the newly updated Safety Talks is now available for free download. Members of the Crane & Rigging Group’s Safety Talks Task Force and Safety Education & Training Committee have spent the past few months revising over 30 topics.

“This manual will provide member companies with a convenient supplement to their safety programs,” said Task Force Chair Jeremy Landry, Deep South Crane & Rigging. “The downloadable guide covers everything from PPE topics to industry specific items.  Each topic is formatted to provide subject details, warnings, and best practices followed by an employee sign in sheet,” Landry said.

The Task Force plans to take the newly revised Safety Talks and expand into “Phase 2” which will use SC&RA’s Training Center to turn select topics into learning modules that will allow members to view topics at the jobsite from any smart device.

“I would like to thank all of the Task Force members for their efforts in revising Safety Talks, and for their vision to further expand it into a useful interactive learning tool in the future,” Landry added.
