Vaccine Status Not an Issue for Washington D.C. Annual Conference Attendance

- The 2022 Annual Conference, April 25-29 will be held in Washington, D.C. But with the COVID-19 protocols in place in the city, some members wonder how this will impact their attendance at this premier event. “We are confident that all of our members, whether vaccinated or non-vaccinated, can enjoy the Conference, the facility, and the city,” said SC&RA CEO Joel Dandrea. “Regardless of your vaccination status, we encourage you to register and attend. Washington D. C. is your capital city, and we are committed to making your experience easy and enjoyable.” The Association anticipates that many COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted prior to the Conference. As of now, non-vaccinated attendees presenting a negative COVID-19 test result within 24-hours of arrival is required for full access to hotel amenities and sessions. “We will continue to keep members up-to-date on news relating to anticipated ease of restrictions,” Dandrea said.
