What it Means to Attend & Exhibit in Virtual Reality at the Crane & Rigging Workshop
(June 24, 2020) - Registration for the
Crane & Rigging Workshop, Sept. 16-17, is now open for attendees and exhibitors. Show sponsors, National Interstate Insurance and NationsBuilders Insurance Services (NBIS), are offering support in the transition from an in-person event to a completely virtual one. So how will the virtual reality environment work for such an event? “In partnership with A1A Software, we are creating a platform to bring together customers and suppliers in an online environment that feels familiar,” said SC&RA Senior Vice President Crane & Rigging Beth O’Quinn. “While we can’t be together just yet, the Workshop will use VR technology to deliver even more educational offerings and a unique exhibit center experience.” Attendees will be able to choose their viewing experience. They can purchase the VR option and receive VR glasses or join the Workshop through their computer. Either way, attendees will have access to the largest offering of educational sessions ever presented. To register or to secure your booth, visit
