Pennsylvania Gets Ready for New Automated Permit System

- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation provided SC&RA with a detailed preview of its APRAS Modernization system set to release to the public in December of 2019.  The system will include a complete technology upgrade, new map-based routing, improved user interface and improved route generation and analysis. This enhancement signals additional progress in SC&RA’s Uniform Permit Transport 2021 (UPT2021) initiative towards fully automated permit route and analysis systems throughout the United States.
