SC&RA Announces Emerging Leaders Summit

- SC&RA is introducing the next generation of leaders to what it takes to lead within their crane, rigging and specialized transport companies and the industry at large. The Emerging Leaders Summit, November 8-9, will welcome twenty professionals to SC&RA headquarters and downtown Washington, D.C. to see first-hand how advocacy works at the regulatory and legislative levels.

Participants will hear from keynote speaker Dr. John Hillen, a business executive and the former Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, nominated by President George W. Bush. Hillen will speak on how to reinvent yourself as a leader in times of business growth using a solutions-based approach. Attendees will also have plenty of time to network at a private reception in historic Manassas (home of the first battle of the Civil War) during the first evening of the Summit.

Summit registration will open to past participants and applicants of SC&RA’s Leadership Forum Program on September 4th, 2018 and will be capped at a total of 20 participants.  For more information on the Summit, contact Jason Bell, Director of Membership.
