SC&RA Strengthens Labor Partnerships at Iron Workers/IMPACT Safety Roundtable

-This week, SC&RA Chairman Jim Sever, PSC Crane & Rigging, and SC&RA Senior V.P. Crane & Rigging Beth O’Quinn, delivered impactful updates at the July 14 Iron Workers/IMPACT Safety and Health Roundtable in Ann Arbor, Mich. Sever provided a timely overview of tariff advocacy efforts and SC&RA’s Labor Committee work, while emphasizing ongoing collaboration with Iron Workers leadership on safety, PPE, and workforce development. Also highlighted was the Crane & Rigging Safety Education & Training Committee’s new three-year strategic plan, including expanded mental health initiatives through a partnership with Hard Hat Courage, recent safety presentations, and the Rigger Safety Award program that recognized 18 outstanding riggers. “This roundtable strengthens essential labor-management relationships,” said O’Quinn. “We value participation because it assists in aligning our priorities on safety and training, and positions SC&RA members to influence positive industry outcomes.” For more information, contact O’Quinn.
