- Randy Braden, retired Alabama Department of Transportation official, has been recognized by SC&RA with the Industry Achievement Award. Braden is one of only four government officials who has received the award. He was recognized for his significant leadership in advancing harmonization in the specialized transportation industry.

“The harmonization process was stuck in reverse for many years until Randy stepped up and through his leadership convinced his government colleagues to take action,” said SC&RA Vice President Transportation Steven Todd. “Under Randy’s guidance came AASHTO Harmonization I and II resolutions successfully passed through AASHTO.”
