Held at SC&RA’s offices each fall and designed for mid and upper management, SC&RA’s Future Leaders Forum serves as a pathway not only for facilitating new partnerships across the Association with other likeminded professionals, but it also serves as an introduction and to SC&RA’s history, impact, and ongoing efforts to help advocate, educate, and connect over 1,350 companies across the world.

SC&RA will accept eighteen individuals each year to join the Association at its headquarters in Centreville, Virginia.  The first evening offers a welcome networking dinner and reception. The following day offers a historical review of SC&RA, an advocacy-at-work update, and a keynote speaker based on previous participant feedback. This powerful event continues to feature high-level networking opportunities, advocacy, and policy discussions with industry leaders like FMCSA’s Larry W. Minor and NCCCO’s Matt Shaw, and inspiring keynote addresses—such as the one delivered by Dr. John Hillen, a former CEO and Assistant Secretary of State under President G.W. Bush.  At the last Forum in 2024, SC&RA welcomed former Super Bowl winning Assistant General Manager Michael Lombardi who discussed what makes organizations tick at the championship level, evaluating, acquiring, and utilizing personnel in ways other minds won't even contemplate.  This event has no registration fee and the only costs for SC&RA members is travel expenses and one night’s hotel stay.  Applications for this program are required and are open to only SC&RA members.
