2020 Advocacy Victory

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY COMMITTEE CREATED TO ADDRESS REGULATORY CHALLENGES

SC&RA created an Environmental Policy Committee to address some of the regulatory challenges faced at the federal and state levels. Many of these issues effect manufacturers, crane and rigging and transportation companies. Initial committee members include: Christian Bartley, Tadano, Kevin Johnston, J&R Engineering, and Stefan Kohler, Goldhofer. SC&RA has enlisted the support of one of the nation’s leading environmental specialists, Allen Schaeffer, Executive Director of the Diesel Technology Forum. Mr. Schaeffer was formerly Director of Environmental Affairs at the American Trucking Associations and continues to be a very well respected and credible, international advocate in this space. The mission of the committee is to educate on existing and future environmental compliance issues and aggressively advocate reasonable environmental regulation and legislation at the state, federal and international level on behalf of members.
