CICB & ITI Scholarships Awarded Through SC&RF
(August 3,2023) - The Foundation’s Educational Assistance selection committee reviewed seven applications for the June round for the Vo/Tech Scholarship resulting in four recipients pursuing certification or training. Through
the Partners In Education program, the SC&RF awards training seats in participating organizations at reduced or free tuition. Please join us in congratulating the following:
- Cassandra Guilar is the recipient of a CICB Scholarship for 50% of full tuition for the Mobile Crane Operator program.
- Andrew Brosnac is the recipient of a CICB Scholarship for 100% tuition for the Mobile Crane Inspector Course
- Gilberto Ortiz is the recipient of a CICB Scholarship for 100% tuition for the Rigger I course.
- Brian Taylor is the recipient of the ITI Scholarship for 100% tuition for the Mobile Crane Inspector Course
In addition to Partner in Education scholarships, the SC&RF has over $7,000 remaining to be awarded through the Vo/Tech Scholarship application process. Upcoming deadlines include August 31 and October 31. Employers are encouraged to work with their employees who require certifications, additional training, or courses to complete the application.
