Permit Policy Committee & Governing Committee Strategize Future

(August 17,2022 ) - SC&RA’s Permit Policy Committee will convene its summer meeting at SC&RA headquarters August 24-25. The meeting will include key discussions with the Transportation Governing Group and features a 1.5 day facilitated workshop to develop strategic advocacy initiatives and tactics for permit harmonization and auto-issue, safety, and other policy strategies in the future.  While the in-person workshop is limited to members of the two committees only, SC&RA members are encouraged to contact Vice President of Transportation Chris Smith with suggestions and issues your business is having with any particular states and provinces for the committees to consider for action.  For more information, contact CSmith.
