SC&RA 2020 Annual Report Posted

- The Association’s 2020 Annual Report has been published this week which highlights efforts last year to advocate for its members and cultivate opportunities for education and networking amidst the backdrop of the pandemic. The report features several advocacy wins including the Department of Homeland Security designating the industry as essential critical during the pandemic, and SC&RA securing more flexibility with the Hours-of-Service regulations, including renewing the 30-minute rest break rule exemption for 5 years. Membership remained resilient during Covid-19, coming off four straight years of growth. The year started off strong with several successful meetings, however for the first time ever, the Annual Conference was canceled due to the pandemic. And despite having to cancel its annual fundraiser, the SC&RF secured $22,200 in donations from generous donors.
