SC&RA Weighs in OSHA’s Request for Use of Leading Indicators

-SC&RA, through its participation in the Construction Industry Safety Coalition (CISC), submitted formal comments on OSHA’s request for feedback on the Use of Leading Indicators. Comments addressed leading indicators that are, or could be commonly used within our industry, as well as how to encourage employers to use leading indicators, in addition to lagging indicators, to improve safety management systems. The CISC urged OSHA to recognize the impact on small businesses and to develop/create tools that can be applied across industry regardless of jobsite size and different construction sectors.
