Twelve States Have Updates to Travel Times

- Twelve states have significant oversize/overweight times of travel policy changes. These changes have occurred in Alabama; California; Delaware; Iowa; Louisiana; Maine; Michigan; Nebraska; North Carolina; Ohio Turnpike; Oklahoma; and South Carolina. In addition, Florida and Pennsylvania had other changes affecting permitting. As the most comprehensive reference tool in the industry, the SC&RA Online Permit Manual spells out requirements for procedures and contacts; fees, restricted or weekend travel; allowable weights and dimensions; and escort/pilot car requirements. To be in the know with the latest changes that could affect your plans, visit the SC&RA Permit Manual page. For more information, contact Chris Smith.
