What’s C&R Group Chair Mike Connelly Most Looking Forward to at the Workshop?

(September 14,2022) -Mike Connelly, President, Connelly Crane Rental and SC&RA Crane & Rigging Group Chairman was recently interviewed by American Cranes & Transport Magazine about his career and company. When asked what he was most looking forward to at the Crane & Rigging Workshop, Oct. 3-5, he mentioned a jam-packed session with fellow industry leaders. 

“I’m most excited about the opening session, called Let’s Talk. The idea came from past SC&RA meetings and workshops when you’d look down a hallway and see eight or nine of us in a circle talking about a certain issue or challenge. We would just talk,” he explained. The Let’s Talk session panelists are: Alan Barnhart, President, Barnhart; Ken Bernardo, CEO, Bay Crane Service; Tyler Elliff, Vice President, Precision Crane Service; Jeremy Landry, Project Manager, Deep South Crane and Rigging LLC; and Erika Sims, CEO, Sims Crane & Equipment Co. 

“The goal is for people to drop their guard, open up and talk and share. It’s designed to create an open dialog – where everyone can talk,” Connelly added.
