Safety, Safety Improvement and Zero Accident Awards
Crane & Rigging Safety Awards are based on achieving an Incident Rate of 1.4 or less, a Workers’ Compensation Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, an Incident Expenses Frequency Rate of 1.0 or less, and Zero (0) Fatalities during the current program year (1/1/2022 – 12/31/2022)

Project Safety Award
This award recognizes member companies and their clients for completed projects with zero recordable injuries/ illnesses. After a member company applies, the client receives notification from SC&RA that their project has been designated as an award winning project. SC&RA members then receive and present the award to their client. Applications are accepted and awarded monthly.

Crane Rental Service Safety Award
The Crane Rental Service Safety Award is achievable in two categories, each requiring a specific number of work hours performed:
- Maintenance Work” - 1,500 hours of ongoing maintenance work in a single project location.
- “Single Project” - 1,500 hours of work during the length of one project for the same client.
Members receive and present the award to their client signifying the mutual commitment to safety between the client and the SC&RA member. Applications are accepted and awarded monthly.
