SC&RA to close for Independence Day

(June 30, 2016) - To help staff commemorate the Independence Day holiday, the SC&RA offices will be closed on Monday, July 4. The American Automobile Association (AAA) forecasts 43 million Americans will pack their bags to celebrate the Fourth. And 84 percent of those travelers (about 36 million Americans) will drive 50 miles or more from home during the holiday weekend, which would make it the busiest 4th of July weekend ever. This year, the holiday travel period is defined as Thursday, June 30 to Monday, July 4. SC&RA urges all members planning to be on the road to drive safely.
