What’s in the Mail this Week? Mental Health Reminders Sent

- May is Mental Health Awareness Month and SC&RA has mailed a letter with samples of free mental health awareness chips and hard hat stickers to each member company’s primary contact (U.S. & Canada). Recognizing that many people in this industry hesitate to seek help due to the stigma surrounding mental health and the perception that seeking help is a sign of weakness, SC&RA has launched an initiative at the Annual Conference designed to provide online resources to individuals and companies grappling with this issue or who are in a position to support those who are going through a mental health crisis. This online resource can be accessed here: scranet.org/support. This page features links to the free mental health awareness chips and hard hat stickers (members pay shipping and handling). This week, an article, featuring SC&RA members weighing in on the importance of mental health in the industry, was chosen as KHL Editors Pick of the Week. Read the short article here.
