SC&RA 2021 Crane & Rigging Workshop Set for Windy City in September

Premier annual event brings together crane industry’s top professionals for three days in Chicago.

- The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association’s (SC&RA) 2021 Crane & Rigging Workshop will be held September 14-16, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, in Chicago, Ill.

The Workshop represents the industry’s premier crane and rigging event of the year, and is expected to bring together more than 600 of the top managers, safety directors, legal experts, operations personnel and crane operators from many of the industry’s foremost companies.

Covering everything from legal education, consensus standards and regulatory updates to cutting-edge technology and safety practices, Workshop sessions also emphasize training, equipment maintenance and current issues affecting the industry. Networking opportunities at the Workshop are plentiful, including two evening receptions and the popular Exhibit Center, which features 82 booths this year and represents an annual must-attend for those looking to learn about the latest products, equipment, and information in the industry today.

An additional highlight of the Crane & Rigging Workshop is the Crane & Rigging Group Governing Committee where member volunteers govern on specific issues affecting the industry. Attendees can gain a unique perspective on SC&RA’s ongoing work by attending this meeting and participating in discussions.

One of the industry’s preeminent lifting equipment rental companies, LGH, will offer a site tour of its facilities, which includes one of North America’s largest inventories of jacking, winching, rigging and other material-handling equipment. The tour, transportation, and lunch is complementary with registration.
